A Coral Springs construction worker was hospitalized last week after a 60 foot long 7,000 pound pipe to be used on a road project fell on to his right leg. He is a sub-contractor who was working on the Sawgrass Expressway improvement project. Paramedics rushed to the scene and stabilized the victim. He was then transported to Coral Springs Medical Center and is now in guarded condition. The doctors are hopeful however that they can save his leg.
