After this tragic occurrence, it is important to realize that workplace accidents happen every day. Simply put, your job (no matter how big or small), has an on-going duty to protect its employees whether the work involves an office position or hazardous occupation. While some companies take this responsibility seriously thereby eliminating many potential claims, unfortunately others decide to save money and sacrifice safety!

Any employee who has sustained an injury on the job should contact a lawyer immediately! If you live in the South Florida area (or anywhere else in the state for that matter), get in touch with a workers’ compensation attorney as soon as possible to learn about your rights.
