Three employees were hospitalized after the scaffolding that they were working on collapsed at a Coral Springs construction site. Coral Springs Fire Rescue responded to the call. The area (Cornerstone Plaza) is a commercial property in the beginning phase of construction by ATEX Group. As a result of the possible defective scaffolding, the Coral Springs construction workers fell about 30 feet to the ground, suffering severe injuries. According to The Division of Workers’ Compensation, ATEX Group has a Coral Springs Workers Compensation insurance policy with Normandy Insurance Company. All of the employees were transported to Broward Health Coral Springs Hospital. Unfortunately, two of them required trauma care. Additionally, The City of Coral Springs building officials were on scene, and OSHA was notified due to possible on-going safety concerns.
Since these individuals were working at the time of the accident, they all likely have valid Coral Springs Workers’ Compensation claims. After one suffers an on-the-job injury, they must report it to their employer and seek medical treatment as soon as possible. Afterwards, an injured employee should seek immediate advice from an experienced Coral Springs Workers Compensation attorney.
