2 Florida UPS Workers Injured In Fork Lift Accident

A fork lift fell in at a UPS center in Hialeah, Florida on Monday, December 1st, 2014. Two people were injured and the accident occurred around 6:30 A.M. The two people who were injured when the fork lift fell were airlifted to the Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder’s Trauma Center. Their condition remains unknown. However, according to reports, the victims suffered torso and head injuries.

Officials do not know what caused the fork lift to fall. They said that it was about 12 feet high. The two people who were injured when the fork lift fell will most likely be entitled to worker’s compensation. Just about every person who is injured on the job while performing their duties is entitled to worker’s compensation.

Worker’s compensation can be used to pay for the medical bills that arise from the injuries. It can also be used to replace lost wages. Many people are unable to work for a long time after they suffer an on-the-job injury.

Even though most people who are injured on the job are entitled to worker’s compensation, people are not always fairly compensated for their injuries. In fact, some people are even denied workers compensation. That is why it is important to contact a Florida workers comp lawyer if you are interested in getting workers compensation.

Evan Ostfeld has a thorough knowledge of the workers compensation laws in Florida. He understands that this area of law can be a lot more complicated than many people realize. That is why he will fight hard to make sure that all of his clients get the compensation that they need. Ostfeld will not only provide you with the representation that you need, but he can also help you find a doctor.

He will also be able to assess whether it is necessary to go to trial. In most cases, these types of cases will be able to settle out of court. However, going to court is sometimes necessary in order to make sure that the client is able to get a fair settlement. The sooner you contact an attorney, the better.
