Two Workers’ Vehicles Collide In Miami, Florida

No one ever leaves for work in the morning expecting to collide with another vehicle, but that’s exactly what happened in South Florida recently. Employees from two different companies collided with each other on the streets in North Miami. One injured individual was employed  as a mental health facility. The other worked for the United States Post Office as a driver. Both people were rushed to two separate hospitals (Aventura Hospital and Jackson North Medical Center). The car and truck were so badly damaged that they were towed from the scene.

These individuals may actually have a workers’ compensation claim and personal injury case. Florida workers’ compensation is a benefit that protects employees if they get into an accident while they are in the course and scope of their job. Florida personal injury law covers people that were injured as a result of someone else’s negligence. Both types of law cover medical expenses and a portion of lost wages. Since insurance companies often like to delay and deny coverage, it is always wise to hire a South Florida Workers’ Compensation and or South Florida Personal Injury Attorney right away. The lawyer can therefore protect the injured person’s rights under each respective area of the law.
