Worker Dies On The Job

FORT LAUDERDALE — A construction worker at Northeast High School in Fort Lauderdale died after falling from a ladder, police say. The employee was standing on the third step when he fell backwards according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. First responders were called to the scene, was airlifted to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead. An OSHA investigation is now underway.
