A Florida bill to compensate first responders for post traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) passed unanimously in the Florida House of Representatives on Monday and in the Florida Senate on Thursday, March 1, 2018. First responders to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School saw fourteen students and three teachers mutilated by multiple large caliber rounds into their torsos, legs, and arms. In the midst of this chaos, 18 seriously injured students were triaged and transported to local hospitals.
