3M Is Not Done Paying Out — They’re Just Getting Started.

3M Military Earplugs Lawsuit

Surely, you’ve heard of the dual-ended 3M Combat Arms Earplugs lawsuit. It is the largest mass tort in history. From the years of 2003–2015, 3M was the exclusive supplier of selective attenuation earplugs for our military. These cases have all been transferred to federal court in Pensacola, FL.

The plaintiffs (our brave service members) all similarly alleged that they have sustained injuries from using the 3M earplugs during military service. Common injuries include unilateral and bilateral hearing loss and tinnitus (ringing in the ears). Unfortunately the earplugs did not form a proper seal while inserted. Simply put, they did not work and thereby caused hearing damage! Today, the first round of trials have concluded with “The Good Guys” (U.S. military) winning 13 out of 19 cases for a whopping .684 winning percentage! Juries have already awarded millions of dollars in damages.

To pull a fast one, 3M even tried to file for bankruptcy to avoid further liability which the judge denied. That means it is not too late to join the fight!

3M has a lot to consider because the juries are not persuaded by their deception. As such, our legal team will continue to fight for our heroes. If you, a loved one, or friend served anytime from 2001–2015 and suffered from hearing loss and or tinnitus after using these defective earplugs, there may be a claim for financial compensation.

Call to see if you qualify at (866) I SUE YOU (866) 478-3968. Don’t delay or your claim could be time barred. Evan M. Ostfeld, P.A. and our co-counsel handle these cases nationally and on a contingency basis. That means there are no upfront attorney fees and costs. You will owe us nothing unless there is a settlement or court award.

Rest assured, we’ll even try to secure your medical and department of defense records. Plus, the lawsuit will not impact any service connected disability benefits/claims. We are here to help! Thank you for your service.
